The landmark number is a numerical spatial identifier implementing the identification of the building element in relation to the streets and other public spaces land element.
The landmark number is assigned by decision of the municipal authority and may be changed.
The reference number is unique within the street and other public spaces.
Landmark numbers may not be applied in all municipalities with a street system.
The landmark number may include a letter, e.g. 2a, 2b, 4a, which ensures the stability of the numbering of buildings or parts of buildings within the street.
The sign is normally provided with mounting holes in the corners.
