This number is for our orientation. It is unique within one street, but may be repeated in the village. It orients the house towards the street, streets or squares, so if the walls face more than one direction (street), the house has more orientation numbers. The orientation number may not be found in every village, and is sometimes replaced by a letter, for example.
The sign is normally provided with holes in the corners for fixing.
